“Social Value Matters: Going Mainstream” the first Social Value International meeting in Asia

social value international conference taiwan taipei

On 4th and 5th December, Social Value International will hold its first meeting in Asia entitled Social Value Matters Going Mainstream.

To tackle the global challenges of rising inequality, climate change and social wellbeing, we must change the way we make decisions. This is why thought leaders and best practice from private sector, civil society, NGOs, social businesses and public sector have been invited to Taiwan to discuss together the future of decision-making processes.

The conference will be a chance to listen and participate in global conversations about how we make social impact and social value a bigger part of our decision making. The meeting is open to everyone coming from all disciplines – such as accountants, evaluators, market researchers, economists, service designers, investors – as Social Value International looks forward  to strengthening its networks.

Social Value Matters: Going Mainstream will be held in Taiwan and is organized by Social Value Taiwan which is part, just as the university Research Centre ARCO, of the Social Value International network.

In the last few years, awareness has risen on the sustainability of current systems, as a matter of fact organisations whether big or small, public, private or civil society, are all now trying to measure and manage the non-financial value they create. To continue following this path, professionals and academics need to meet and discuss together. For this reason, for the first time the 2-days Conference will also include an Academic Symposium.

The meeting’s agenda also includes keynote speeches and plenary sessions, 6 workshops, 5 round tables and 23 discussion sessions. Check the programme here!

«Bring your strategic thinking and passion and join our movement as we change the way the world accounts for value.»

The 2-days Conference will be at the HNBK International Convention Centre of Taipei, Taiwan
