Pistoia Social Business City: the activity report 2012-2014

Here you can find the Report about “Pistoia Social Business City” Program activities from 2012 to 2014, the program aimed at promoting Social Business and carried on by Yunus Social Business Centre University of Florence, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Pistoia e Pescia and Fondazione Un Raggio di Luce Onlus.

The Program has been inaugurated on July 11th, 2012, to the presence of the Nobel Prize winner Professor Muhammad Yunus and it is operative since the first months of the same year. The Report describes the activities that the Pistoia Social Business City team conducted during the 3 year-period 2012-2014. The activities are separated into four axis: “Youth” axis, “Enterprise” axis, “Citizens and civil society” axis and “local administrators” axis. On the basis of these axes the Program aim has been defined: it is to create a facilitating system for the raising of efficient, sustainable enterprises oriented towards the resolution of social or environmental local issues.

PSBC is a comprehensive program which involves students and young people, citizens, local entrepreneurs and local administrators into the activities it carries on and it is aimed at the promotion of social enterprise as an efficient solution for social and environmental issues on the territory of Pistoia.
