Enrico Testi graduated in Advanced Development Economics at the University of Florence. During the academic studies, he worked in the Policies and EU Networks Department of Promofirenze, Special Agency of the Chamber of Commerce of Florence on European projects related to the internationalization of SMEs, and he conducted researches on the evaluation methods of Third Sector organizations for Fondazione Culturale Responsabilità Etica of Banca Popolare Etica as well as on Social Enterprises and their added value. In 2009 he started managing the Research Lab ARCO (Action Research for Co-Development) of PIN- University of Florence.
In 2011, he co-founded and started managing, as Director of International Relations, the Yunus Social Business Centre University of Florence (www.sbflorence.org) in partnership with Nobel Peace Prize Muhammad Yunus the founder of Grameen Bank. In 2012 he started a pilot program to create an enabling eco-system for Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation in Pistoia called “Social Business City Program”. In 2013 Vita Non-Profit Magazine included him in the list of the top 100 Innovators in Italy.
