Junior Researcher

Gabriele Feligioni

Gabriele is a junior research assistant at ARCO’s Circular Innovation and Sustainable Commodities Unit.

After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in “Economic Development, International Social and Health Cooperation and Conflict Management” from the University of Florence in 2021, with a thesis entitled “Urban and Peri-urban Agriculture: a Circular Model for Prato”, he enrolled in the first-level master’s degree programme ‘Plant Future. Plants, Social Innovation, Design’ at the University of Florence, graduating in 2022.

Finally, he obtained a master’s degree in “City and Territory Planning and Design” from the University of Florence with a thesis entitled “Governance and integrated planning for the local food system. The case of the Prato-Florence Agricultural Park”.

His study and research interests range from agroecology to tourism, including inland areas and territorial planning, all through a circular approach.
